Full commitment to your Sport
To a good athlete, you need to commit to your sport, be all in in it. You need as a person to put 100% of your effort because in life, everything that you put all of your effort in will have some big rewards (can be as a salesman, can be as boss, as a parent, etc). You need to understand the process of getting better, it’s not instant it takes time. Every day, you need to show up prepared to practice, every day you need to improve, and push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Related to mentality, if you want to improve you need to always stay positive in the process. No successful athletes were born as professionals, they all worked to be who they are now and they keep doing it everyday. And like them, you will have some bad days at ‘’work’’
and some good days, the bad ones you need to forget them and and tell yourself you’ll be better tomorrow, and the good ones you need to draw confidence from the good ones and remember what you did good. Plus, another thing that you can do, that I’m pretty sure that elite athletes do is putting extra time your sport, maybe you think the extra 10 minutes won’t change anything, but if the 10 minutes are there 5 days a week at the end of the week it’s almost an extra hour that you have more than your teammates.
